Ephesians 3:20 Initiative

A Prayer of Thanksgiving for the Ephesians 3:20 Initiative

Scripture Reading:

Psalm 36:5-7, Isaiah 60

Reflections of the Heart:

As a Church Family, we have seen God’s faithfulness towards us as we look at all He has done through us for this community (The Power Center, Corinthian Pointe, The KBC and more).  As we prepare for this next phase, do not grow weary in praying and expecting.

Scriptural Prayer:

Our Father, we thank You for providing the financial resources for the Ephesians 3:20 Initiative.  We are thankful for the vision of the Permanent Sanctuary, The Prayer Center, The Veteran’s Residential Center, the 21st Century Manifestation of the Acts Church, and the Fabulous Fun and Fitness Center.  You are a wonderful Father. Thank You for making the manifestation of this vision possible.  We exalt You, our God and King.  You are merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.  You are good to everyone.  You shower compassion on all of Your creation.  All of Your works will thank You!  We, Your faithful followers will praise You.  We will speak of the glory of Your Kingdom and give examples of Your power. We will tell about Your mighty deeds and about the majesty and glory of Your reign.

Magnificent Father, we are thankful for every resource needed for excellent and efficient construction of the Ephesians 3:20 Initiative. You have blessed us in the land You have given us. As we keep Your commandments and walk in Your ways, You have established us as Your holy people.  As a Church Family, we declare that we will obey Your voice and do according to all that You have commanded in the giving of our tithes, offerings and pledges toward this vision.  We are grateful that the construction will proceed without delay and every architect, contractor, laborer, and professional will obey Your voice and work as if You are their direct supervisor.  We decree that the worksite is holy ground and we are expecting You to dispatch angels to ensure that each assigned task throughout the construction process is completed safely.  We are grateful to You, that  the construction of the Permanent Sanctuary, The Prayer Center, The Veteran’s Residential Center and the Fabulous Fun and Fitness Center will be completed in the fullness of its time.  We declare that Your light will shine upon this project and people will see Your glory.

Righteous Father, we ask for Your blessings upon the people who have already given financial seed into this project. Thank You for the builders and contractors who will construct the Permanent Sanctuary, The Prayer Center, The Veteran’s Residential Center, the 21st Century Manifestation of the Acts Church, and the Fabulous Fun and Fitness Center.  Please continue to give our Pastors and leadership team continued strength, discernment and wisdom as they conduct business with the people who are involved with this project. Holy Spirit, unify our hearts as a Church Family and help us all to continue to stand in faith for the completion of this project. Holy Spirit, speak to us regarding our future pledge commitments and help us to fulfill them.  May Your love, compassion and mercy be experienced by everyone through the 21st Century Manifestation of the Acts Church and the WVUMC worship celebrations in the Permanent Sanctuary.

Father, I will honor You as I continue praying and giving thanks to You for the Ephesians 3:20 Initiative.

Loving Father, please forgive us as a Church Family for all acts of sin, including disobedience, hypocrisy, selfish-ambitions, pride, gossip, adultery, fornication, homosexuality, lying and perversion. Forgive us for wrong attitudes that prevent us from obeying You. Forgive those of us who are not praying consistently for this project.  Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed).  Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive.  (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to show you names or faces of people that you may need to forgive.  As He shows you, say aloud, “I forgive name of person(s).”  Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)

Holy Spirit, help us all to not yield to temptation; but deliver us from the evil one.

Redeeming King, You are the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.  You are the One who is, who always was, and who is still to come—the Almighty One. You are worthy to receive glory and honor and power.  You created all things, and they exist because You created what You pleased.  In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
